Bridge Art
Glamorgan Gates have just completed an arts project for the Big Draw which has involved 70 participants from across the Merthyr Tydfil borough creating artwork (photography, painting, drawing, creative writing, woodwork and sewing) in response to the theme of "Drawing on life in Merthyr - You & Your Home". Glamorgan Gates have temporarily converted one section of the St Tydfil’s Square footbridge (between the college car park and St Tydfil’s Square) into a gallery space to display photographs of the artwork. The original artwork is also on display in a variety of other locations. For more information on Glamorgan Gates projects, either pop into the shop at 121 High Street, or call 01685 729940.
