Craft Market
This Saturday, 27th November, Santa Clause and his real reindeers come to Merthyr Tydfil town centre’s Craft Market from 10am at the Lower High Street. Entry to see Santa is £3 per child where children can tell him what they would like for Christmas, get a little gift, a wallet size photograph with Santa and the opportunity to see and stroke the reindeers. There is no pre-booking for this event, which operates on a first come, first served basis. Please expect to queue for this event as Santa takes time with each child, so they fully enjoy their experience. There will be no admittance to the queue after 3.30pm. While visiting Santa and his Reindeers, why not visit the Craft Market in the town centre, where you could find some of those special gifts for Christmas.

Artists Wanted
A new media company in south Wales is working with artists to develop new and innovative ways to promote their clients' products and services. Cyfarthfa Christmas
A series of festive workshops will be held at Canolfan Cyfarthfa, the new visitor centre in Cyfarthfa Park. On Saturday 4th December from 12pm until 3pm, there will be a craft of felt making workshop for adults where you can learn the craft by making your very own felt Christmas decorations. Then on Saturday, 18th December from 11am until 12pm, 12:30pm until 1:30 and 2pm until 3pm there will be a Family Christmas craft workshop for all ages, with a visit from Santa Clause! Dick Whittington
The Owen Money Theatre Company visit The Muni Arts Centre in Pontypridd in December for a production of Dick Whittington starring Owen Money as Billy. Join Dick and his famous feline friend, on their wondrous adventures which take them from the Gloucester countryside, to the high seas, to mystical islands and ancient treasure. But watch out f the rotten revolting rodent, King Rat he is pantomime’s most evil villain. Can Dick defeat King Rat? Can he find the treasure and win the hand of his one true love? There is only one way to find out; visit the Muni for one of the most exciting pantomime adventures featuring all the ingredients you have come to know and love, from their traditional panto - marvellous music, cracking costumes, fun, laughter and loads of audience participation.
