Musical Team
Following a very successful summer concert, members of the mixed choir, which was formed for the National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale, are hoping to continue singing together. They are therefore looking for a suitable musical team (Musical Director and Accompanist) to help them achieve their aims. It is the choir’s ambition to sing no more than 2 concerts a year, the main one being a classical work during the summer months. It is also hoped to continue the choir’s links with the Welsh language through the choice of repertoire and by using some basic Welsh phrases in rehearsals. Rehearsals will be once a week on a Monday evening in Lower Beaufort Welfare Hall, Ebbw Vale and Interested parties should send a covering letter and CV to carys.wynne@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk or call 01495 322510 for an informal chat.
